BERLI JUCKER CONFIRMS PRESS REPORT OF A SMALL FIRE INCIDENT AT THE WAREHOUSE OF CELLOX PAPER CO., LTD. Berli Jucker Public Company Limited today confirmed press reports of a small fire on the evening of 17 November 1999 at the Cellox Paper's warehouse in Samutprakarn. Most importantly no one was injured in the incident and employees at the site reacted quickly and proficiently to the fire. Preliminary estimate of the damage to one of three warehouses and inventory is no more than Baht15 million. The warehouse and inventory were fully insured. Inventory levels are generally low reflecting the Company's use of tight inventory control techniques. No production equipment was damaged and there has been no interruption of production.
