Sales revenues grew by 14.0 percent to Baht 2,900 million, with the core businesses of Packaging, Consumer Products and Technical Products all registering sales revenue increases. The Group's gross margin for the quarter was 26.2 percent, a slight decrease from that of the comparative quarter in 1998, affected by rising raw material costs in the Packaging and Consumer Products businesses. Net income for the fourth quarter of 1998 was positively affected by investment disposal proceeds of Baht 57.4 million post tax.
