15 November 2007 The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Bangkok Dear Sir, Re: Report on Change of Operating Results BJC would like to notify that the Group's net income for the third quarter of 2007 was Baht 351.6 million, 100 percent increased from the same period in 2006. The increase was primarily due to 13 percent increasing of sales from the third quarter of 2006 to Baht 4,183.1 million in the third quarter of 2007. Increased sales mainly came from Technical & Industrial products, Consumer products and Packaging business. The increasing of net profit in the third quarter of 2007, partly came from decreasing cost of production, due to price decreasing of raw materials, decreasing energy cost for production by switching to natural gas instead of fuel oil and more efficiency in production process, continually, in Thai Glass Industries Public Company Limited. Net income for the nine-month of 2007 was Baht 840.3 million, representing a 31 percent increased from the same period in 2006, and sales was increased to Baht 12,135.3 million, or 9 percent increased from the nine-month of 2006.
