14 November 2008 The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Bangkok Dear Sir, Re: Report on Business Operating Results BJC would like to notify that the Group s net income for the third quarter of 2008 was Baht 284.0 million, a 23 percent decrease from the same period in 2007. The decrease of net income was occurred by the increase of production cost mainly from raw materials and energy. The sales amount increased by 17 percent from the third quarter of 2007 to Baht 5,622.0 million in the third quarter of 2008. Increased sales mainly came from Packaging Business, Consumer Products and Technical and Industrial Products. Net income for the nine-month of 2008 was Baht 956.6 million, representing a 6 percent increase from the same period in 2007. The increase was primarily due to a 16 percent increase of sales in the nine-month to Baht 16,369.4 million. Please be informed accordingly.
