Appointment of new Managing Director of Berli Jucker Logistics Limited, a subsidiary Berli Jucker Public Company Limited announced today the appointment of Mr.Alfred Thomas May as the new Managing Director of Berli Jucker Logistics Limited, a subsidiary, his start date will be 8 May 2000. Mr. May will replace Mr. Jan Gert Vistisen who will be leaving the Company in August this year for Denmark as Managing Director of International Operations of ISS-International Service Systems A/S. Mr. May was born in Australia in 1950. He spent 21 years service and having attained the rank of Commander (Supply/Logistics) with the Royal Australian Navy. Having left the Navy, Mr. May has worked and held senior executive positions in Transport (Rail), Warehousing and Distribution, and has been Director of a Retail/Wholesale Company. He came to Thailand in 1996 and previously held the position of General Manager Warehousing and Distribution for EAC Logistics (Thailand). More recently he has worked as a contract consultant and has completed logistics/Supply Chain management assignments in Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
