The Group's net income for the year 2001 was Baht 300.6 million, a 44% decrease from the net income in 2000. This decrease was primarily due to the change of control costs in the amounting of Baht 406.7 million (net of tax) which were paid to certain employees to fulfill contractual requirements of their employments as a result of the management change arising from the sale of the company's shares by a major shareholder and other related costs.
