15 May 2006 The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Bangkok Dear Sir, Re: Report of Group's Operating Results BJC notified consolidated net income of the first quarter of 2006 was Baht 174.5 million, representing a 51 percent decrease from the first quarter of 2005. The decline of net income for the first quarter 2006 due to the decrease of gross margin to 26 percent compared to 30 percent of the same period of 2005, and increasing of selling expense which affected by increasing of fuel and raw materials price and also the higher of interest expenses due to business expansion of the Group and interest rates increasing.
