30 August 2006 The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Bangkok Dear Sir, Re: Reports on Fire Incident at the Warehouse of Berli Jucker Cellox Limited Berli Jucker Public Company Limited would like to notify a fire incident which occurred approximately at 9.30 hours on 30 August 2006, at the warehouse of Berli Jucker Cellox Limited, subsidiary of the Company, situated at the Industrial Estate 304, No. 598 Moo 10 Tambon Thatoom, Ampur Srimahapho, Prachinburi Province. The fire started at the warehouse stocking jumbo roll. There were no one injured in the incident also there were no machines, other areas and office area affected by this incidence. Preliminary estimate of the damage were approximately Baht 70 million. The warehouse and inventory were fully insured. The caused of this fire are under investigated by district officials. The Company expected to be able to resume normal production in a few days. In the meantime, production at the other factory in Bangplee will be able to produce sufficient supplies to feed the market and meet our customers' demand. Please be informed accordingly.
