The decline of net income for the nine-month of 2006 was due to the decrease of gross margin to 25 percent compared to 28 percent for the same period of 2005, coupled with increasing selling expenses resulting from higher price of fuel and raw materials and also the higher interest expenses due to business expansion of the Group and increasing interest rates.
