26 February 2009 The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Bangkok Dear Sir, Re: Report on Business Operating Results Berli Jucker Public Company Limited have consolidated net profit of Baht 1,076.4 million in year 2008, decreased from 2007 Baht 178.3 million, 14.2 percent. The consolidated net profit margin was 4.9 percent in 2008 decreased from 2007 which was at 6.5 percent. The net profit of Industrial and Service Supply Chain decreased by Baht 278.0 million due mainly to an increasing in energy cost and raw material cost, loss from fuel oil hedge and reserve for lower of cost than net realizable value. The net profit of Consumer Supply Chain and Technical and Service Supply Chain were increased by Baht 76.5 million and Baht 50.6 respectively as an impact of sales increases. The net profit of the Company only was Baht 994.1 million in year 2008, decreased from 2007 Baht 432.2 million or 30.3 percent due to the Company received dividend from associated and subsidiary companies Baht 619.3 million, decreased from 2007 Baht 525.1 million.
