13 May 2010 The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Bangkok Dear Sir, Re: Report on Change of Operating Results Berli Jucker Public Company Limited ("BJC") would like to report the net profit attributable to Equity Holders of the Company for the first quarter of 2010 of Baht 516 million, an increase of 151 percent from the first quarter of 2009. Besides the increase in sales, the increase in net profit attributed to the improvement in gross profit as a result of lower key raw materials and energy prices, compared to the same period last year, of the key Supply Chains' cost of sales. The major contributor to the improvement in net profit was the Industrial Supply Chain, which reported the net profit of Baht 323 million in the first quarter of 2010 versus the net loss of Baht 33 million in the first quarter of 2009. The improvement was mainly due to the productivity improvement and the lower cost of key raw material, including soda ash and cullet. Please be informed accordingly.
