11 August 2010 The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Bangkok Dear Sir, Re: Report on Change of Operating Results Berli Jucker Public Company Limited ("BJC") would like to report the net profit attributable to Equity Holders of the Company for the second quarter of 2010 of Baht 478 million, an increase of 74.5 percent from the second quarter of 2009. Besides the increase in sales, the increase in net profit attributed to the improvement in gross profit as a result of lower key raw materials and energy prices which are cost of costs of the key Supply Chain as compared to the same period last year. The major contributor to the improvement in net profit was the Industrial Supply Chain, which reported the net profit of Baht 362 million in the second quarter of 2010 versus the net profit of Baht 69 million in the second quarter of 2009. The improvement was mainly due to productivity improvement and continuously lower cost of key raw materials, including soda ash, cullet and aluminum. Please be informed accordingly.
